What I do at Crisis Support Services of Alameda County
I oversee all training for direct counseling services delivered via phone, text, and chat platforms at CSS. Since joining CSS in 2021, I have served on both the Crisis Line and the Text Line, and I'm deeply enthusiastic for both modalities of crisis counseling.
I am also an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I hold a feminist, multicultural lens and utilize narrative therapy approaches, working in individual, couple, and group formats with my adult clients.
I'm proudly queer, trans, disabled, and autistic, and I live with OCD and suicidality. I'm committed to highlighting service users' intersectional identities, lived experiences, and critical feedback in my work. I consistently strive to highlight the social, political, and historical contexts that contribute to suicidality and crisis.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with people I love and making art.
