Justin Lee

As one of several Crisis Line Program Coordinators, I assist not only in caller care, but counselor care as well. We support and assist our counselors through group and one-on-one supervisor to offer encouragement and solidarity as well as promoting structure and quality assurance.

Crisis Support Services of Alameda County is a wonderful, diverse, caring, and progressive workplace filled with the desire to address gaps in mental health and provide care for every community that we serve both at home and all across California!

After working in the service industry for several years, I made the transition into the mental health field after studying psychology at City College of San Francisco and University of California, Berkeley. My education has informed my approach to care and has helped in identifying needs in the field and the public at large.

Be yourself and remember that you're here because you care! These formal processes are always a little tight, but don't forget we're here to support you and your efforts to extend care to your community. It's a beautiful thing to be involved in this work!
